AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am - Power Rankings

It's tough to follow the thrill and excitement of the Waste Management Open, but the AT&T Pro AM tends to be up to the challenge. With on site crowds nearing 200,000, there is plenty to be excited about including the worlds best golfers, an amazing celebrity lineup and three epic golf courses (Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course & Monterey Penisula Country Club Shore). The scenic ocean front views alone are worth tuning in to watch this event, but don't be fooled by the beauty, these are three of the most challenging golf courses in America.

As always, there's a great cast of celebrities participating in this years Pro AM portion of the event including: Bill Murray, Wayne Gretzky, Carson Daly, Josh Donaldson, Peyton Manning, Ray Romano and many more. Celebrities aside, there's also a full field of 156 golfers all be gunning for victory. Lets take a look at some of our top players to keep an eye on this week...

Adam Hadwin - 3/3 cuts made this year with a Top 10, a round of 59 and a plethora of great shots and consistent play. I like the way Hadwin has started the season and if he keeps it up, it's only a matter of time before he brings home a title.

Dustin Johnson - With a pair of victories at this event along with four top 10's, Johnson knows what it takes to succeed here. Add in an emotional boost from playing with his Father-in-law, Wayne Gretzky, and I'm sure Johnson will have a great week.

Jordan Spieth - The 2017 season is still early, but Spieth has been rock solid so far accumulating 4 top 10 finishes in as many starts. He's performed well at this event in the past with a couple top 10 finishes, where I expect him to land again this year.

Jon Rahm - With his first Tour victory under his belt, Rahm kept the momentum rolling with solid play at last weeks Waste Management where he finished T16.

Justin Rose - A couple top 10's already on the season, coupled with a T6 at last years AT&T event, makes Rose a force to be reckoned with.

Phil Mickelson - Always a contender, with four AT&T titles as well as a second place finish last year, Mickelson seems to thrive at this event. I expect a classic Phil performance this week, which never seems to disappoint.

Matt Kuchar - In two starts this season, Kuchar not only made both cuts but landed in the Top 10 both times. He'll look to keep that streak alive this week.

Patrick Reed - Not many are more consistent than Reed, 5/5 cuts made this season with a pair of Top 10 finishes. In four appearances, he's yet to miss a cut at this event, and I'd be shocked if this year was any different.

Brandt Snedeker - Another past winner (twice), will be looking for a repeat victory this week. He's been solid so far this season with a pair of top 10 finishes.

Jason Day - With 7 previous starts at this event, Day will be looking to add to his record which includes three top 10's and a pair of top 15's.

J.B. Holmes - Consistently making cuts and playing well, he's yet to string together enough rounds to land in the top 10 this year, but it's only a matter of time. Watch for him to break out this week.

Sleeper Picks

Mackenzie Hughes - Playing well as of late, and so are many of his Canadian comerades. I expect Hughes to step up and deliver a solid performance this week.
