Topgolf Tees Off Month-long Campaign Benefiting Make-A-Wish
Beginning August 1, Topgolf will offer guests opportunities to help make more wishes come true
PHOENIX – Global sports entertainment leader Topgolf® , known for their fun, games and great food – for all ages – today launched their fundraising campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish. Topgolf guests will have three ways to give within the venues and the WGT app, helping to raise the funds necessary to make wishes possible for children with critical illnesses.
Since 2016, Topgolf has raised more than $485,000 for Make-A-Wish and has impacted more than 50 wish kids. Earlier this year, Topgolf named Dolf Berle CEO, who also sits on Make-A-Wish’s Board of Directors. Berle’s history of building strong charitable partnerships make this year’s campaign more promising than ever.
“We at Topgolf are tremendously excited to partner with Make-A-Wish in their noble mission. One of our central cultural pillars is to be a team that cares for others in all the communities we serve. I am excited for the many Wish-Children and families we will be able to support through this work, and for the opportunity to care for others that this brings to all our Topgolf associates across the country.”
Beginning August 1 and continuing through August 31, Topgolf offers guests three ways to donate. The sweetest way to give back is through the purchase of Injectable Donut Holes—a Topgolf staple and an exclusive blueberry flavor will be available for the month of August. For every order of the Injectable Donut Holes, $1 will be donated to Make-A-Wish. Guests may also add a donation to their receipt —with 100% of the donation benefiting Make-A-Wish. A $5 donation yields a bounce back offer for $10 off gameplay during the next visit. Not to be forgotten, Topgolf’s virtual guests also have an opportunity give back through the Topgolf World Tour Golf app. WGT will donate $1 for each sleeve of special Make-A-Wish balls or ball effects back to Make-A-Wish, up to $10,000.
“As Make-A-Wish strives to provide life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, we depend on companies like Topgolf and their guests who share our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child,” said David Williams, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “Topgolf not only helps raise the resources critical to making these wishes possible, they also host wish parties at locations across the U.S., further showing their commitment and belief that wishes are an important part of a wish child’s medical journey—providing hope when it is needed most.”
